Paula Abdul forced to choose between her own acts on X Factor USA - Paula Abdul went into meltdown after being forced to choose one of her own acts to be eliminated on X Factor USA for the second time in two weeks. Both Lakoda Rayne and The Stereo Hoggz found themselves in the bottom two and were forced to battle it out for the judges' votes.

LA Reid and Nicole Scherzinger voted to eliminate The Stereo Hogzz.

Paula Abdul then went into meltdown, saying she wanted to abstain from the vote.

She was told by host Steve Jones that would effectively eliminate The Stereo Hogzz, so she ultimately voted to send home Lakoda Rayne to square things up and leave Simon Cowell with the deciding vote.

He voted off The Stereo Hoggz with some dismay, saying he genuinely believed they were both great acts who America had not yet had a chance to get to know.
