Kris Humphries Hires Lawyer For Kim Kardashian Split - Ditched Kris Humphries has finally hired himself a divorce attorney to oversee his legal split from his wife Kim Kardashian. The basketball player, who married Kim on August 20 in a multi-million dollar ceremony in Montecito, California, was unceremoniously dumped on October 31 when he learned that his wife of 72 days was filing for divorce.

Initially it had been reported that Humphries was refusing to sign the divorce papers, which could be what prompted the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star to visit him in Minnesota last weekend.

Humphries has now hired Lee Hutton to deal with the proceedings, reports TMZ.

The Minnesota lawyer usually deals with sports stars, so handling the divorce case is likely to be challenging even though they both signed a prenuptial agreement.

It's expected that Kardashian will be granted the divorce in just six months.
