Eddie Murphy 'Tower Heist' seduction scene - Eddie Murphy says a scene in his new comedy film "Tower Heist," which sees him being seduced by Gabourey Sidibe, had to be edited due to its sexual content. "We had to cut it down because the other footage got pretty racy," Murphy told OTRC" Some of its borderline X-rated."

The movie follows a group of hard-working employees who, after falling victim to a wealthy business man's Ponzi scheme, conspire to rob his high-rise residence. Murphy plays a crook and Sidibe, who earned an Oscar nomination for her role in the 2009 film "Precious," portrays a fiesty maid.

The movie also stars Matthew Broderick and Ben Stiller, who said the two were interested in "Tower Heist" because it reminded them of a 1974 film that starred their fathers.

"I'd never done anything like this, so just doing something in a different genre was fun for me," Stiller said.

"I like this kind of movie and for me, it reminded me of movies I watched growing up that I love, especially New York heist movies like the original of 'The Taking of Pelham One Two Three' or 'The Hot Rock.' So to be in that kind of movie, I was talking to Matthew Broderick about it, we both too were like, 'This is really cool,' cause both our dads are actually in 'Taking Pelham,' the original."

Stiller's father, Jerry Stiller, was nominated for an Emmy for his appearance on "Seinfeld" and portrayed Arthur Spooner on "The King of Queens." James Broderick was also nominated for an Emmy for his appearance in the 1970s ABC series "Family."

"We were like, 'Oh this is like we're getting to do the kind of movie our dads did," Stiller continued. "It's fun to be in a movie that's reality-based but funny too, where the humor doesn't over-ride, it's not absurdist humor, it's not like all of a sudden you're doing a joke that doesn't make sense in reality just because it's funny. This is a movie first and then it's a comedy second and I like that."

The film also features Casey Affleck, Téa Leoni and Michael Peña .

"Everybody, I thought, was so well-cast in the movie, so everybody connected with their character," Stiller said.

"We got a really solid, good cast," Murphy agreed.

Murphy's character is brought into the heist as a former thief to train the newbies who are planning to get their money back. In one infamous scene, he gives Stiller, Broderick, Peña and Affleck bobby pins and locks them on a roof in the winter, leaving them to pick the lock or freeze.

"I remember when we shot that scene, where I'm up there with the bobby pins and stuff," Murphy recalled. "That, it's on paper and we were playing with it and it kind of turned different than the way it is on paper and while we were doing it, we thought it was silly, what we were doing, we thought it was funny while we were doing it."

"He started doing it and immediately everyone on-set was like, 'Here's yo' bobby pin and here's yo' bobby pin,'" Stiller said of Murphy's scene. "Literally, it became a kind of immediate catch phrase."

Murphy received an Oscar nomination in 2006 for his role in "Dreamgirls." He's known for his roles in the "Shrek" films, "Dr. Doolittle," "Coming to America" and the "Beverly Hills Cop" franchise. Murphy is also known for his comedy specials "Raw" and "Delirious" and first rose to fame as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" from 1980 to 1984.

In September, it was announced that Murphy would host the 84th annual Academy Awards which will air on Sunday, February 26, 2012 on ABC, OnTheRedCarpet.com's parent company. It will be Murphy's first time hosting the awards ceremony.

"I don't even know what it's going to be yet, but I'm looking forward to it," Murphy said of the hosting gig. We've got to see what movies get nominated, people keep going, 'What are you gonna do on the Oscars?' and I'm like, 'We've got to find out what movies get nominated! We've got to write a whole show, so I don't know what it's going to be yet."

One of Stiller's earliest roles was in the cult-classic 1994 grunge slacker film "Reality Bites." He has since appeared in films like "There's Something About Mary," "Meet the Parents," "Zoolander," "The Royal Tenenbaums," "Night at the Museum," "Tropic Thunder" and "Greenberg."

Stiller currently has six films in production and 19 films in development.
