Pamela Anderson renting out her house

Pamela Anderson renting out her house - The actress is offering the public a chance to sleep under her roof for a hefty fee. Pamela Anderson Puts Malibu Beach House for Rent on VRBO. The three-bedroom pet-friendly property, listed on VRBO, costs a cool $20,000 per week or $75,000 per month. For anyone who has ever dreamt of sleeping in Pamela Anderson’s king-sized Tempurpedic bed, now is the chance to fulfill that wish.

The former Baywatch actress has listed her three-bedroom, two and a half-bathroom Malibu property on the Vacation Rental By Owner website. According to the listing, the home rents for $20,000 per week or $75,000 per month.

"I’m traveling so much these days and am enjoying a lot more time in my native Canada with my family," Anderson writes. "I'm finally willing to share my masterpiece – what I’ve co-created with a handful of green architects and designers/inspired by my favorite architect Lautner."

"This is my humble stab at perfection," she says. "It’s a magical spot."

Located in a gated community in the Malibu Colony, the pet-friendly contemporary boasts a water view and private beach access, as well as a custom integrated video, lighting, music and security system controlled by iPad touch panels. The property also includes several fireplaces, a saltwater pool, wetbar and a backyard wigwam.

"Perfection" didn’t come easy for the former Baywatch babe's abode. Back in 2009, Anderson was the subject of multiple reports of alleged financial woes after relocating to a mobile home in Malibu’s famed Paradise Cove trailer park while her mansion was under construction. The actress was also engaged in multiple disputes with several contractors during the renovation, who reportedly filed legal claims over unpaid bills. At the time, Anderson admitted to experiencing some money difficulties, but said that the issue revolved around fair and accurate billing -- not whether she could afford the services. Anderson was also said to have owed more than $250,000 in taxes to the state of California.

Christine Karpinski, author of How to Rent Vacation Properties by Owner, told the Huffington Post that Anderson's latest move is "brilliant."

“Having Pamela Anderson’s name attached to a property gives it a higher premium. It’s not just any old house anymore and becomes something much more attractive,” Karpinski said. In a housing downturn, Karpinski noted that many homeowners will opt to lease their second property in an effort to generate extra income and lessen the financial burden of an unoccupied home.

That extra income may come in handy, as the former Playboy model is currently involved in yet another property dispute. According to legal documents obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, Anderson claimed that a developer had promised to pay her $200,000 plus furnish a Las Vegas condo in exchange for helping to promote new condo towers. After getting neither, she sued. The developer, who had agreements with other celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, fired back with a countersuit claiming that Anderson neglected to live up to her end of the agreement. The developer went after Anderson for compensatory damages after failing to sell off his condo units, reporting a loss of $22.5 million.

Legal woes aside, Anderson made headlines earlier this month when she signed on to play the Virgin Mary in her native Canada's CTV’s A Russell Peters Christmas Special. The one-hour special will air on Dec. 1 with Russel Peters, Michael Buble, Ted Lange, Jon Lovitz and Scott Thompson also starring.
